Now accepting applications for the 2023 Farmer’s Market!

Farmer's Market

The weather outside might be frightful today, but we’ve been busy planning for warmer months and the Huss Project Farmer’s Market! The market will once again happen every Saturday, 9:00am to 1:00pm from June through September and will feature fresh local produce, syrup, baked goods, kids activities, farm tours, forest trails, bike tune-ups, and more every week. Every Second Saturday—June 10, July 8, August 12, and September 9—will feature art vendors, live music, food trucks, and other special activities. Members of the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra will perform several Musical Storybooks throughout the season; stay tuned for more details! There’s something for everyone at the market!

We are currently accepting vendor applications for produce vendors, Cottage Food vendors (syrup, honey, baked goods, etc.), art vendors, and food trucks. You can find all the details in our Market Policies, but here’s the basics: we’re looking for local vendors who are growing or making their own high quality products to contribute to an inclusive, beautiful, community-oriented market. Are you interested? Get in touch with any questions or submit your application today!

The Huss Project Farmer’s Market is committed to connecting neighbors with delicious food and making the food as accessible as we can to everyone in our city. We accept cash, credit cards, SNAP/Bridge cards, Double Up Food Bucks, WIC Project Fresh coupons, Senior Project Fresh coupons, and Huss Project Fresh Food cards. On the third Saturday of every month, we also host the Fresh Food Initiative in partnership with the South Michigan Food Bank, which provides free fresh food to anyone in need. We want everyone to be able to participate in our market!
