We’ll meet you in the garden!

Garden

The Huss Garden at the Huss Project is growing again! We’ve added extra space in the garden to grow vegetables this season and we’re hoping to grow more good food than ever before. The produce we grow is distributed through our agency partners at Keystone Place, Domestic and Sexual Assault Abuse Services, and the Community Kitchen at Trinity Episcopal Church. We also sell our produce alongside vegetables from partner farms at the Three Rivers Farmers Market every week to raise money for the garden project.

We can’t grow this food on our own; we need your help! Every Wednesday night this summer from 6:00 to 8:00, we’ll gather in the garden to grow good food together. Join us to help plant, weed, water, weed, harvest, weed, and do whatever other work needs to be done. Any skill level is welcome and we have all the tools we’ll need to get the work done. You’re also always welcome to drop by to sit in a comfortable chair in the shade while enjoying a good conversation with neighbors. We look forward to seeing you in the garden!
