We as human beings are inherently creative entities. We create through imagination. Imagination is at the heart of play; play is at the heart of learning and learning is best with friends. The Huss Project is a space for freely  imagining possibilities, creative collaboration, and celebration of the dreams and stories that we all have to share.

This year’s Future Festival is again featuring a frolic of local artists selling their work; joining us will be:

  • Teresa Bell
  • Dorothy Brueck

  • Deb’s Jewelry

  • Tracey Freese

  • Mark Vander Heide

  • Gail Walters
  • Carol Winchel

In addition, the Imagination Station tent will also host a number of creative opportunities for all ages, and there will be face painting, a photo booth, and more at Future Festival 2014!

In and around Huss School there will also be other art happenings including art installations by Gail Walters, Save the Frogs (stop by the Coin Carnival and say hello!) Family and Children Services of Kalamazoo, Rob Vander Giessen-Reitsma, Kate Young, and a collaborative mural seeking your contribution — stop by on July 19th to check out what we’ve been imagining lately and add to the vision!
