419 bricks down … and 81 to go by June 15!

Huss Project launch!

Huss Project launch!

We only need $8,100 more to reach our goal! When we sent out our S.O.S. report on the Huss Project Brick Campaign on May 3, we were stuck at $29,300, which was a whopping $20,700 short of what we need to pay the balloon payment on our mortgage on June 15.  Since then, we’ve been astounded by the support that has come in.

Through a noisy offering, a supper club, organizational contributions and dozens of individual gifts, we’ve made it all the way to $41,900!  Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your prayers, encouragement and gifts.  Our volunteer staff is humbly grateful, but still attentive to the work that needs to be done to reach our June 15 goal and secure *cino’s ownership of the historic Huss School for ongoing creative programming.

We’ll hold another supper club fundraiser on June 8, which will raise a portion of the remaining amount, but we still need our individual supporters to buy bricks and help spread the word.  Our volunteer staff people have sent personal letters to friends and family far and wide, but what’s the best way for you to let people know?  Here are a few ideas:
