Well, as we expected, brick sales have slowed down a bit after Christmas, but we are still greatly encouraged that we’ve sold 194 bricks! That’s $19,400 we’ve raised so far toward our goal, which is just amazing. As a volunteer staff, we are working on fundraising events, grant writing and strategies to keep the momentum going into 2013. Let us know if you have any ideas … or if you want to buy a(nother) brick!
We’ve also continued to do research on efficient options for the renovation of the space. Rob is especially excited about a heating system he’s discovered, which may provide a practical, lower-cost option for a year-round space in the school, which is part of our big, BIG goal for this campaign.
