Imaginarium ideas, day 12: Jean

45 Ideas: Jean Thompson

45 Ideas: Jean Thompson

We asked friends, neighbors, and community partners to give us their ideas for the brand-new Imaginarium once it’s completed. There’s still time to submit YOUR idea for the Imaginarium for a chance to win a sweet Huss Project prize pack!

Here’s what Jean Thompson said:

Where in Three Rivers is someone likely to spot you, and what would you be doing there?

Pretty much anywhere… at the library being a total book nerd, at L.A.’s Coffee Cafe enjoying my favorite latte, at World Fare enjoying the spicy hot chocolate and warm scarves, at Main Street Cafe enjoying breakfast, at Meijer picking up soup fixings, or at AutoZone getting parts to get the snow plow going for winter!

What is your connection to Huss?

I am a Huss alum: kindergarten through 4th after which they closed the school.

The Huss Project is working on turning the old kindergarten room into a cool new space with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and room for community events. What’s your most creative idea for something that could happen there?

I think it would be great if there were ballroom dance lessons and dances there. Everyone dances with different partners and the community learns together. I’ve never seen anyone leave a ballroom dance without a smile!
