Driving past the Huss Project at noon on a weekday you won’t find an empty parking lot or vacant picnic benches. What you will see are kids with chalk covered hands and dirt smudged clothing taking a break from their summer adventures to sit with their friends and partake in rarity: a true free lunch. As summer finally begins, and kids are home during hours they normally are not, they can continue to receive the lunches they depend on from school all summer long. Three Rivers Community Schools will provide a free packed lunch for any school aged child to eat at the Huss Project. Lunches started on June 19th and will continue until August 10th every Monday through Friday, 11:45 until noon. All children are welcome to come alone or with their parents and play, draw or simply enjoy a lunch this summer at Huss!
