Huss Alumni: We want to hear your stories!

Were you a student, staff, or family member who went to Huss School or Huss Academy? If so, we’d love to hear your story and the influence Huss has had in your life. As some of you know, our community of supporters has given new life to the old kindergarten room inside Huss this summer, creating the Front Porch Pavilion and the Imaginarium—a space for year round community gatherings, educational programs, and much more!

With your help, we hope to preserve the legacy and memories of this beautiful, historic building by hearing your memories Huss—the good, the bad, the beautiful and everything in between! We would love to share these stories as part of this year’s Friends of Huss campaign as we continue to weave the connections of folks who see what a special place Huss is and believe in the imaginative work happening here. If you don’t want us to share your story during the campaign, we can simply add it to our story archive. All of your stories help us celebrate the building’s 100th year and help us understand how we might steward Huss better as we move forward. As a token of our thanks, we have created a homemade Huss ceramic ornament for you!

For story submissions, please submit a story here or  contact us at 269-244-6020, ext. 705. If you are interested in donating, check out our Friends of Huss page.

Please accept our invitation to join us in this work by becoming a Friend of Huss! With a monthly donation of $10 or more, our Friends are the foundation for a flourishing future for our creative, community-building efforts. Thank you for your partnership!
