Friends, we are SO excited to be able to break the news officially: we’ve been approved for a state program that will match our $50,000 Giant Step Campaign goal dollar-for-dollar! Yes, you read that right. Every dollar you contribute between now and December 15 will be doubled if we meet our goal! This program, which supports the development of new public spaces like the Huss Project Imaginarium, is a partnership between the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and a crowdfunding platform called Patronicity. How cool is that?
BUT: that means we have 45 days to meet our $50,000 goal. Eek!
You better believe we’ve done some work in advance of our launch to guarantee a good portion of those funds—we’ll announce that total tonight at our campaign launch event—but we need YOU to help us get the rest of the way to our goal.
There are a couple of ways to contribute through December 15:
- Donate to our project online through Patronicity.
- Mail a check to *culture is not optional, P.O. Box 1, Three Rivers, MI 49093.
