You all amazed us here in Three Rivers over the past two weeks.
Earlier this year, a generous donor approached us with a proposal: they’d contribute up to $5,000 as a match for individual donations to *culture is not optional (the parent organization of the Huss Project) before the end of 2017. Our small core community got busy planning a two-week, year-end fundraising campaign with a total goal of $10,000 including the match…which we exceeded in the first day! Encouraged by your support, we set a new goal of $15,000 for the campaign, and managed to meet this amount yesterday, on the last day of the campaign.
We are immensely thankful to be heading into 2018 with your generous support for our work at the Huss Project, and in our broader community through *culture is not optional. Money helps pay for things like a farm tractor, supplies for Huss Future Fest, the utilities on our community house, and much more. Beyond money, your volunteer hours, words of encouragement, rummage sale donations, prayers, and so much more make our work not just possible, but a joyful expression of what can happen when many diverse gifts come together!
Thank you for your past, present, and future support for our work. We wish you a peaceful Advent and the happiest of Christmases!
