Summer storytelling kicks off on the theme of sharing food!

Storytelling: Sharing Food

Storytelling: Sharing Food

For the past several summers, the Huss Project has hosted a summer storytelling series inspired by other projects like The Moth (which recently featured a story involving one of our local friends, Richard Price). This summer, we’ll continue sharing stories with a kick-off event this coming Friday on the theme of “Sharing Food,” inspired by the June theme of Topology Magazine.

Appropriately, we’ll begin with a potluck dinner at 7:00 p.m. at 1008 8th Street in Three Rivers. Beverages and table service will be provided if you’ll kindly bring a dish to pass. Then, around 8:00 p.m., we’ll transition from dinner conversation into our official storytelling time for about an hour. You don’t need to be a professional storyteller or writer or anything–just bring a story from your life about sharing food that takes about 3-7 minutes to tell. We look forward to hearing–and tasting!–what you have to share.

P.S. While we have your attention, mark your calendar for July 8, our second storytelling night on the theme of “Coming & Going.”
