We had a great dinner with some of the main volunteers from the community garden at Huss School last weekend. They’re such an energetic bunch with lots of ideas–it was hard to keep up sometimes! We’re really looking forward to seeing how they continue the past season’s success and grow in the future.
Part of the dinner meeting was spent watching this wonderful TED talk from Jamie Oliver. Check it out to catch his inspiring vision for teaching every child about food.
It was fun to be up on the roof of the school yesterday, observing the unusual, organic shape of the garden from above and thinking about where and how to expand our urban gardening experiments at the school property. So many exciting possibilities!
