Becoming the Beloved Community 2025: Book Walk and Gallery

In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Three Rivers Public Library will post a Book Walk around the outside of the library featuring Martin’s Big Words: The Life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by Doreen Rappaport (Author) and Bryan Collier (Illustrator). Stop by any time on January 20 to read the book.

The library will also feature a Beloved Community Gallery in the main floor meeting room on MLK Day, open noon to 5:30pm. The gallery will feature posters of leaders chosen by students in the Three Rivers Area Mentoring (TRAM) After School Program. Student reflections will be included alongside the posters.
