Imaginarium ideas, day 22: Aundrea

45 Ideas: Aundrea Brown

45 Ideas: Aundrea Brown

We asked friends, neighbors, and community partners to give us their ideas for the brand-new Imaginarium once it’s completed. Here’s what Aundrea Brown said:

Where in Three Rivers is someone likely to spot you, and what would you be doing there?

At Lowry’s bookstore hosting an open mic — sharing personal stories, reciting poetry, and encouraging someone else to step outside of their comfort zone.

What is your connection to Huss?

My love for the arts keeps me interested in the projects at Huss, as well as being a mother looking for positive spaces for my children.

The Huss Project is working on turning the old kindergarten room into a cool new space with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and room for community events. What’s your most creative idea for something that could happen there?

As a mother — youth dance classes, positively-guided youth rap sessions, non-band musical instrument classes (bass, piano, etc.).

As a community member — Spanish-language immersion classes, cooking classes, self-care seminars (positive encouragement via poetry and storytelling, vision board creation, and local vendors ready to share holistic products, services, and information).
