Brick Report 12.29.12

Huss Project launch!

Hi, folks.  In this morning’s brick report, we have … 170 bricks sold!  Even as many folks have headed out of town and attended special celebrations around Christmas, they’ve continued to support the Huss Project through the Brick Campaign.  Thank you!

In the meantime, we toured the building with a friend who has experience in both building and considering the psychological qualities of our built environment.  It was interesting to hear his perspective on the plans for the Huss School property and we came away with a good number of ideas and a lot of encouragement.  We were also able to tour the school with a long-time *culture is not optional (*cino) supporter on her first excursion to Three Rivers.  It’s so nice to make these kinds of connections as we continue to build community around the Huss Project — heat and running water, or not!  There are already so many good things sprouting there, and the Brick Campaign will be like a big dose of rain and sunshine that will help our saplings send out new branches and thrive.

If you’ve been contemplating buying a brick, there’s still time to do so in 2012.  Each buyer receives a lovely handmade relief print of the school.  *cino is a registered 501(c)3, so all donations are tax-deductible.  Thank you for your support and encouragement!
