Many of the tangible needs at the Huss Project are met by community donations. The needed supplies fluctuate with the seasons and the various programs happening, so we’re always open to hearing about whatever donations folks want to share, especially for the annual rummage sale fundraiser that happens during Future Fest. Here is a list of some of the supplies our community regularly needs while working at Huss:

Urban Farm

  • Outdoor motion detector lights
  • Outdoor work gloves
  • Commercial mop & mop bucket
  • Tarps
  • Wheelbarrows
  • Band-aids
  • Straw bales and newspaper for mulching in the garden

For kids activities and community events

  • Badminton set/racquets
  • Board games
  • Outdoor tent shelters
  • Beanbag (corn hole) set
  • Paint (craft, non-toxic, preferably tempera)
  • Fabric scraps

If you’re able to help out with any of these supplies or activities, either through donating the items themselves, gift cards or cash donations, please contact us or visit our donations page!
