The Fresh Food Initiative will be at the Huss Project on the third Saturday of every month, from 9:00-11:00am. Families will receive a large box of fresh food, which may include dairy and meat items! If you are arriving by car, our volunteers will place your box in your car for you.
Please enter from the south at the south entrance into the Huss Project parking lot. If there is a line of cars, please line up from the south parking lot entrance on 8th street toward M-86. We will have signage and markers to direct you. Thank you!
From June – September, families are also invited to check out the Huss Project Farmer’s Market in the pavilion on the north end of the building. We have a variety of vendors selling fresh vegetables and fruit, maple syrup, baked goods, grocery items, and more. The market accepts cash, credit card, SNAP/EBT/Bridge Card, Double Up Food Bucks (double your produce purchases using SNAP!), WIC Project Fresh, Senior Project Fresh, and Huss Project Fresh Food Cards.
