Community Bike Shop Project Launch!

The Huss Project recently received a $50,000 T-Mobile Hometown Grant to renovate part of our building for a Community Bike Shop. Come on out during our July Second Saturday Farmer’s Market to help us celebrate and to launch the project officially!

Here’s the schedule for the project launch events:

• 9:00am-1:00pm – Open house with snacks/beverages, tours, renderings, bike tunings, etc.
• 10:30-11:00am – Bike decorating for bike parade
• 11:00am – Check presentation and bike parade!
• 11:30am (when parade finishes) – Bike giveaway!

And, because it’s Second Saturday, we’ll also have our market and art vendors from 9am-1pm, plus:

• 10:00am – Musical Storybook in the Children’s Area on our urban farm
• 11:00am-1:00pm – Live music by LVNMUZIQ near the market pavilion
