Grow mural

Building on the belief that making art helps grow our imaginations for all areas of life, the Huss Project seeks to be a place where people of all ages and skill levels can be creative.  Our first collaborative art project took place at the Huss Future Festival in 2011, when artist Elizabeth Brouwer organized a mural for the garden shed.  Another mural took shape on the fence during the 2012 Huss Future Festival, alongside an array of art installations at the property, from the boarded up windows to the girls’ bathroom.  We continue to add to our permanent collection of installation art every year. At the 2016 Huss Future Festival, we introduced an art gallery that highlighted work from local artists—including several neighborhood kids who had taken a photography class at the Huss Project earlier in the summer.

Please contact us if you’d like to be part of future art installations at the Huss Project!
