A *culture is not optional project
Whether it’s growing, cooking, eating or cleaning up the dishes, food has tremendous power to bring people together. A commercial kitchen at the Huss Project will extend the work of Triple Ripple Community Gardens into food preparation and service. Cooking classes on a variety of topics will provide opportunities for participants to learn professional skills and develop their personal resourcefulness for healthy eating and simple living on a budget. A commercial kitchen also has the potential to serve as a resource for special events on the site and to grow entrepreneurial possibilities for those who want to prepare food for sale.
